Divisions Of The Internal Black Space
Jesmonite, Nails, Plaster, Wood
Divisions Of The Internal Black Space is a moving image and sound installation which explores the idea of double consciousness in relation to faith, spirituality, belief and relation. It represents the importance of learning the difference between the politics of information and pre-colonial practices. The concept behind her installation design was based around geometry and how this can be used to evoke emotions. The square represents an order of charged spiritual symbolism. She used a mixture of sizes and compositions to represent religions structural laws producing a collaboration between Combining frequencies, organic matter, fashion and art.
